How It Works
Step 1:
Email Your Photos
Send an email to support@firsthealthapparel.com with photos of the scrubs or activewear you would like to recycle. We'll give you an estimate of the credit you'll receive!
Step 2:
Ship Your Items
Mail your items to us! Please confirm your items are shipped by sending us an email with tracking information. Note: the maximum amount of credit you can receive per shipment is $50 CAD ($10 CAD per item).
Step 3:
Receive Your Credit
Once your items have been received, we'll issue your store credit to you via email. Your pre-loved scrubs will be recycled on your behalf!

Frequently asked questions
Who can participate in the Recycle Box Program?
Our Recycling Program is open to everyone! Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with sending items to us, including any applicable duties and taxes. To ensure your package is accepted, all duties must be prepaid prior to shipment. Packages requiring duty payment upon delivery will be refused, and First Health is not responsible for any lost, returned, or unclaimed items resulting from unpaid duties.
What if I have more than 5 items I want to send back?
You can send more than 5 items in one shipment to be donated, but the maximum amount of credit you can receive per shipment is $50 CAD ($10 CAD per item).
Do you only accept scrubs?
We also accept activewear! We are accepting all activewear (any brand works—including our own First Health brand!) for recycling. Activewear that has a lot of visible damage (i.e. holes, extreme pilling, colour fading, etc.) will not be accepted. Your pre-loved scrubs will be recycled, and your gently used activewear will be donated to an organization in need.
Please note: your store credit can only be issued to one site. If you are including both scrubs and activewear to one shipment, you will need to confirm with our team which store you would like credit for (www.shopfirsthealth.com or www.firsthealthscrubs.com).
Can I drop off my items in person at First Health Club?
Yes! You're welcome to drop off your items in person at First Health Club. Our team can review your products at the time of drop-off, which typically takes 10–20 minutes depending on how busy the club is.
If you'd like to speed up the process, you can email photos of your items to support@firsthealthapparel.com ahead of time for review.
Once your items have been assessed and approved, you'll receive your store credit, which can be used both online and in-store.
When will I receive my store credit?
Your store credit will be issued once our team has received and reviewed your items.
Credits are sent via email for mailed-in submissions, and will be issued in person for approved drop-offs at First Health Club.
